This week we award the KAIS Culture Ambassadorship to the History Bowl Team who embodied Global-Mindedness when they competed in the International History Bee and Bowl at the UIA International School of Tokyo. They competed against students from all around the world and displayed their knowledge of historical and current events that shape societies around the globe. We are proud to announce that the team won the silver medal in the junior varsity division, and in doing so qualified for the Asian Championships in Phuket and the International Olympiad in Rome to take place later this year. Way to go, History Bowl Team! Your Global-Minded approach to life and learning is an inspiration to the KAIS Community. We’d also like to give a shout-out to Jones who works with the History Bowl Team each week to prepare them for their competitions.
