Programs

All KAI School students start each day in Oral Journal, a school-wide seminar that explores modes of communication through various media. Students learn oral presentation skills, debate, speech, reading aloud, and ways to incorporate technology into effective oral communication and speaking. This unique program allows students to build and strengthen social ties and friendships, while cementing the skills necessary to communicate. In addition, all students enrolled at KAI School take our English Intensive seminars. These writing-level-based small classes alternate daily between Vocabulary Workshop and Writing Seminar, both superlative programs designed to help your student succeed in important English skills far beyond the basic curriculum.

KA International School offers two main academic programs and further tailors additional programs to specific students¹ needs. Both programs train and prepare students to excel specifically on the SAT Test (High School), PSAT (Junior High School) Eiken (STEP), TOEFL, and college admissions essays, all the tools our students need to succeed in and after high school.

SKAI Program
The SKAI Program is a top-rated joint venture between KAIS and internationally-renown Stanford University, whereby students dually enroll at both schools and receive a prestigious high school diploma from Stanford University (Educational Program for Gifted Youth), in the USA. This is an extremely intensive academic program and is recommended for very gifted motivated international students. Successful SKAI students will attain a crucial edge in their university applications. Students are able to choose a concentration, take AP (Advanced Placement) classes for college credit, and enroll directly in Stanford University classes. KAI will aid students in submitting applications to Stanford in order to successfully enroll in this competitive program. Please contact our admissions office for more detailed information.
KAIS Core Program

The KAIS Core Program is a fully-accredited American junior high and high school diploma-granting curriculum, geared toward all students regardless of ability. Students with a below-grade-level English ability or learning difficulties, although have the motivation to learn, will be fully supported at KAI in their academic goals of graduation. Upon acceptance into KAIS, students and their parents will create a learning contract with their educational goals with our staff, and decide the duration and focus of their secondary education. Students enrolled in the KAIS Program undertake a full junior or senior high school schedule, including KAIS¹s own intensive personalized English curriculum. These classes are a mixture of lab-based individualized teacher-guided study, and our daily seminars which alternate daily between Vocabulary Workshop and Writing Seminar. We create high school graduates who are effective writers, verbose speakers, and respected members of the international community. Our programs are designed to prepare students for the schedule and academic scope of university life.
