This week our Honors Literature group finished their second book, The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass. This extraordinary account of Mr. Douglass’s profound life highlights the “wretchedness of slavery and the blessedness of freedom” (Douglass 63). We highly recommend perusing these pages. Even if you’re busy, this book can be easily read in two or three sittings, and its impact could be life-changing.
The Honors Literature students are eagerly anticipating the next book–Moonwalking with Einstein by Joshua Foer.
